nibbling berries
pink crested, golden chested
spring migrating waxwings

One of my favorite birds is migrating back to Michigan. Cedar waxwings have been returning to our area for the last few weeks. How I love to see these beautiful birds as they find the last of the fall fruit still clinging to bare trees. Welcome back!

As a teacher of sixth graders, ma special place is my classroom; my home-away-from-home. My first home I share with my husband, our dog Quincy, two cats, and my tortoise friend, Misha. I also have been blessed with a horse named Arjay. We have three adult children and five grandchildren, the joy of our lives. Life is good. I am an equestrian, a writer, a reader, a gardener, and I repurpose furniture.

What a nice haiku! I love writing haiku’s and that is a beautiful photo of those birds. What joy that must bring to see them.
